Nova Design Build is a design-build remodeling company in Hilliard, Ohio, serving homeowners across Columbus and the surrounding Central Ohio suburbs. When Nova came to Janszen Media, the business was brand new. There was no website, no logo, no brand identity, and no marketing in place.
Janszen Media built all of it from scratch: a full website, a brand identity, and ongoing marketing support, giving a first time business owner everything needed to compete for higher income remodeling clients from day one. The site launched in 2022 and has been generating leads for Nova ever since.
The relationship did not end at launch. Janszen Media has continued updating the site with Nova as the business has grown, and still manages SEO and Google Ads for Nova today.

The Challenges
Nova Design Build was not fixing a broken website. It did not have one. A brand new design-build company has to establish credibility from almost nothing, and that is a harder problem than a redesign. Homeowners researching a full-service remodeling partner expect to see a portfolio, a process, and proof that other people trusted this company with their homes. Nova had only a handful of early projects to show and no reviews yet, and it needed to look established immediately, not grow into that look over a few years.
The target client made this harder. Design-build homeowners are higher income and comparison shopping against firms that already have a track record. A generic contractor site would not hold their attention, and Nova could not afford to look like a startup in a market that rewards permanence.
The Solution
Janszen Media built Nova’s brand and digital presence as one connected system, not a website with a logo attached to it.
- Designed a full brand identity, including logo, name treatment, and a black and gold palette signaling upscale, established positioning
- Built a homepage around a hero slider showing off their projects, later changed to a video hero, clear service categories, and a four-step process so a first time visitor understands exactly how a project works
- Added a dedicated Getting Started section covering timelines and budget ranges by project type, a level of transparency most competitors do not offer, used to pre-qualify serious buyers before they call
- Structured a filterable project gallery with individual project pages, built to hold photography as jobs are completed rather than sitting empty
- Built individual service area pages for the 14 Central Ohio communities Nova serves, targeting local search from launch
- Integrated Google reviews across every page so trust signals grow automatically as new reviews come in
- Built a lead capture form that collects contact details, project address, and referral source, so every lead arrives pre-qualified
The Result
In May 2026, Nova Design Build’s website generated 35 leads. More than half, 51%, came directly through the website itself, ahead of organic search and local service ads combined. Years after launch, the site is still doing the work a sales team would otherwise have to do by hand.
Nova now has a complete brand and digital foundation to grow into: a logo and identity that matches the client it wants to attract, a portfolio structure ready to fill in as projects complete, and service area pages positioning the company across the Central Ohio suburbs it serves.
An Ongoing Partnership Across Three Brands
The relationship with Nova Design Build did not end at one website. Nova is part of a family of businesses under the same ownership, and after seeing what Janszen Media built for Nova, that ownership group brought us in to launch two more.
A client only hands over their next business, and the one after that, to a partner they trust to get it right the first time. Janszen Media built the website and brand identity for both Prism Glass & Shower and Nova Windows & Doors, and now manages Google Ads for Nova Windows & Doors as well.
