// Overview
Fancy Pants Renovation needed a brand as memorable as its name. Janszen Media built the company’s logo, brand identity, business cards, and website from the ground up, work that had to carry a playful, distinct name into a home services market full of generic contractor branding.
Janszen Media also set up Fancy Pants’s social media and Google Business Profile, and later reworked the website when the business shifted from a traditional remodeling model to dispatching a network of vetted specialists.

The Challenges
A name like Fancy Pants Renovation does not work with a generic logo or a stock contractor template. Janszen Media had to build a brand identity from nothing that matched the name’s personality without tipping into gimmick, then carry that voice through a full website, business cards, social media, and a Google Business Profile.
The business itself changed shape after launch too. Fancy Pants shifted from doing renovation work itself to scoping projects and dispatching a network of vetted specialists. The site had to be redesigned around that new structure without losing the brand identity already built around it.

The Solution
Janszen Media designed the brand first, then built everything else to carry it.
- Designed a full logo and brand identity built around Fancy Pants’s name and personality, not a generic contractor look
- Carried that voice into copy and design across the site, from headlines like “When Your Home Feels Fancy, You Feel Fancy Too” down to the contact form
- Designed business cards to match the new brand
- Set up social media and a Google Business Profile alongside the website
- Built out individual pages for 14 services and 10 Central Ohio service areas
- Redesigned the site’s structure and messaging around the new vetted-specialist model when the business pivoted, without starting the brand over
The Result
Fancy Pants Renovation launched with a brand built specifically to match its name, at a time when most competitors in the space still look like interchangeable contractor templates. The brand and site have held up well enough that they did not need to be rebuilt from scratch when the business itself changed direction, just redesigned around the new model.
The relationship kept going from there. Fancy Pants’s owner brought Janszen Media back to design flyers for a second business he owns, with a possible website redesign for that company under discussion.
